The name of this book i've been reading is Impulse By Ellen Hopkins. One character in this book, Is Vannessa, Who is a very troubled fourteen year old, Who struggles with everyday life and realeases her anger with cutting. Tony who is fourteen also, troubled and tried to die from an overdose since he had been raped by his own father. Conner has also tried to commit suicide by pulling the trigger on his chest, he'd lost the one he loved Emily Sanders since of course she had given up on him. Dahlia who threw herself all over any man she could find. Also Dr. B the psychiatrist who is having trouble with these kids. Yes they are in a mental hospital or what they call it the Loony Bin.
Why didn't Vannessa go with Conner instead of Tony?

SUMMARY SENTENCE: Tony falls in love with Vannessa, Vannessa is in love with him also. Therefore he isn't gay. Conner decides to jump off the mountain he was climbing because he couldn't live with all the dissapointment he causes. Conner never survives.
